Today marks a momentous occasion. I am resting. For the first time in at least 7 years - there is nothing on my calendar. Nothing to prepare for. Nothing to attend. Nothing to schedule around. Three more weeks with n-o-t-h-i-n-g - NOTHING, outside of going to work and home life.
Reading some books, enjoying much needed and desired time with my husband, and relaxing. It's a good thing.

Enjoy your rest! I'm not sure what that's like. ;o)
I saw your comment on Beth Moore's blog about the brownie trifle and it sounded so good I had to try it out!! Our church had our first ever community pig pickin' at the city park to invite ppl to our church, etc. and I made your dessert!!! Everyone loved it and it was gone within the first 15 minutes. :o) I just wanted to let you know that it was very good and well enjoyed.
Have a blessed day!

That is great Kim. You deserve that so much. Thank you for all you do for the Kingdom. You are amazing!!! Love you, Susan
Now you have to resist the temptation to fill your calendar up! During my day of rest yesterday we had 2 different people just "stop in" (which rarely happens). And the cool thing is that we got to enjoy the time with our company without feeling like they were interrupting our plans. Just being available to be used by God, instead of being scheduled to the brim, is truly a blessing. Hope it's able to continue for you!
Enjoy your much needed rest!!! It is SUCH a wonderful thing you are taking some time off :-)
And thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. I just saw it yesterday & you left the comment the end of March! I'm going to start checking for comments now... you can tell I'm not used to getting any :-)
I completely agree that the Esther study was AMAZING! I didn't want it to end. Even though I finished it almost 2 months ago, I was inspired to blog about it, so check it out if you would like.
I enjoy your blog!
Jennifer
